Dan Bartell
Dan Bartell was apparently born to do what he does. After all, he grew-up in a family-owned real estate development and operation business. He initially founded Bartell & Company Real Estate in 1982 and has 25+ years experience buying, selling, building, owning, leasing, and managing properties for clients, as well as for his own account. This broad experience gives him a unique 360-degree perspective on real estate transactions, projects, or portfolios few others can match.
Dan also formed, co-owned, and managed Venture Group, Denver’s premier “boutique specialty” commercial real estate broker, property manager and portfolio advisor in the late 1980s-early 1990s, where he co-developed a portfolio of 650,000 s.f. in high-rise and mid-rise properties in Cherry Creek, the Denver Tech Center, and Lakewood’s Union Boulevard corridor.
Then, after reinvigorating Fuller & Company’s office and office warehouse business, Dan reestablished Bartell & Company in 1995. Today, he focuses primarily on office, office warehouse, R&D, and industrial product for investor, seller and tenant representation, and is personally involved in all aspects of the firms ‘s services. He has handled transactions for diverse clients including HealthOne, Colorado State Board of Land Commissioners, Jordan Perlmutter & Company, AT&T Merlin Hot Line, University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, and Rose Hospital.
Dan holds a B.A. in Urban Economics from the University of Florida, and a Class “A” general contractor’s license. He also attended Atlanta’s Emory University — the “Harvard of the South” — where he captained its tennis team to a national ranking in NCAA Division III. He continues his education through courses ranging from Taxation and Lurking Legal Issues to Managing Environmental Risk.
